Jerald Arthur - musician and producer of music

Jerald Arthur is a multi-instrumentalist and music producer.

The style of music has ranged from Jazz Ensemble, R&B, Soul, Pop  and even a little country trumpet.

The music on this site has been created beginning in the late 1980's to the present where new songs are being written, arranged and recorded.

Jerald plays Piano/Keyboards, Electric Bass, Trumpet, Flugalhorn.

Jerald (name for music projects) is Jerry Hicks or Gerald Arthur Hicks. Born and raised in Red Bluff CA. Started playing trumpet in 3rd grade and had a dance band throughout high school where he also picked up the bass guitar. 

Studied music at California State University of Northridge then played trumpet and bass in Las Vegas for several years. 

While leaving music as a profession to work full time as a tool and die maker then software developer for the tool and die industry in the Detroit area and raise a family, Jerald continued his music projects by always having a home music studio. Worked with son, Robby Hicks from 1986 thru 1993, when they wrote music and played out as a duo where Jerald played the instruments and Robby sang and danced to their original music.

Now, Jerald lives in Arkansas where most of his time is spent on music projects along with recreational golf and hiking and camping with lifelong partner Kelly and our dog family, Jax and Roxanne (7 and 2).
